Lesson Plans for Oct.30-Nov.3

GEOMETRY:

Monday Oct.30:  This is a workday/catchup day.

Tuesday Oct.31:  We will have a lesson on Parallel Lines and Angles, 3.2.  The assignment is worksheet 3.2A.

Wednesday Nov.1:  We will have a lesson on Proofs with Parallel Lines, 3.3.  The assignment is worksheet 3.3B.

Thursday Nov.2:  We will have a lesson on Slope of Lines, 3.5.

Friday Nov.3:  Students will complete worksheet 3.5A.

HONORS GEOMETRY:

Monday Oct.30:  This is a workday/catchup day.

Tuesday Oct.31:  We will have a lesson on Rotations in the Coordinate Plane, 4.3A.  The assignment is page 198 #8,10,11,14,16.

Wednesday Nov.1:  We will continue with Rotations and have a lesson on doing a rotation with a protractor and on Rotational Symmetry.  The assignment is worksheet 4.3A.

Thursday Nov.2:  Students will take Quiz 4.1-4.3.

Friday Nov.3:  We will go over graded assignments from the previous week and also the Quiz.

Lesson Plans for October 23-27

GEOMETRY:

Monday Oct.23-Wednesday Oct.25:  Students are to watch the video “Lines and Angles” posted on Google classroom.  Handouts of notes were given out in class on Tuesday and extras taken to the computer lab so if you did not receive these, check in the computer lab for your copies.  Also included in the handouts is the assignment, worksheet 3.1.

Thursday Oct.26:  Students will go to bigideasmath.com and complete the assignment there.

Friday Oct.27:  Students will need to complete the worksheet on Google classroom by putting their answers on notebook paper.

HONORS GEOMETRY:

Monday Oct.23-Wednesday Oct.25:  Students are to watch the video “4.2 Reflections” that is posted on Google classroom and fill in the notes.  Copies of this were handed out on Tuesday.  If you were not here, then look around my classroom and get the substitute to help you look.  The assignment is page190-191 #1-8,10-20even,21-25all,34.

Thursday Oct.26:  Students will go to bigideasmath.com and complete the assignment there.

Friday Oct.27:  Students will need to complete the worksheet on Google classroom on their own graph paper.
