GEOMETRY:

Monday August 14:  Teacher workday

Tuesday August 15:  First Day: Introduction to class, go over procedures/routines, supplies, Google classroom, and class blog.  We will do a partner interview activity.

Wednesday August 16:  We will begin a lesson on 1.1 Points, Lines, and Planes, learning new vocabulary.  We will set up the Interactive Student Notebook and begin using it for our notetaking.

Thursday August 17:  We will have a lesson using new vocabulary for 1.1.  The assignment is 1-10.

Friday August 18:  We will go over 1-10 and the assignment is 1-18 on a wkst.

HONORS GEOMETRY:

Monday August 14:  Teacher workday

Tuesday August 15:  First Day:  Introduction to class, go over procedures/routines, supplies, and Honors contracts.  We will do an activity called Broken Circles.  We will then begin on learning vocabulary for 1.1.

Wednesday August 16:  We will begin a lesson on 1.1 Points, Lines, and Planes, learning new vocabulary.  We will set up the Interactive Student Notebook and begin using it for our notetaking.  The assignment is 10 problems.

Thursday August 17:  We will go over 1-10 and have a lesson on intersection. Students will complete worksheet 1.1C.

Friday August 18:  We will have a lesson on Segments and Congruence.  The assignment is wkst 1.2C.
