GEOMETRY:

Monday Jan.13-Tuesday Jan.14:  We will have a lesson on how to Prove Triangles are Congruent in a 2 column table.  We will do the odds together in the Proof Booklet and then students will complete the evens.  The assignment is also to complete the asterisks on the “2 Column Proofs” wkst.

Wednesday Jan.15:  We will have a lesson on CPCTC, 5.7 and finish the booklet examples and the wkst “2 Column Proofs”.

Thursday Jan.16:  Students will complete the Review 5.3-5.7 in preparation for the test.

Friday Jan.17:  TEST 5.3-5.7

Monday Jan.13:  We will have a lesson on the Circumcenter/Incenter, 6.2.  The assignment is online at bigideasmath.com (Algebra work must be shown and turned in for full credit).

Tuesday Jan.14-Wednesday Jan.15:  We will have a lesson on Altitudes and Medians, 6.3.  We will do a DESMOS activity together.  The assignment is page 328 #1-14,16-17,20,31-36,42,44.

Thursday Jan.15:  Students will take Quiz 6.1-6.3 and complete review wkst 6.2-6.3.

Friday Jan.16:  We will have a lesson on Midsegments, 6.4.  The assignment is page 337 #1-4,8-20evens,26.

Tuesday Jan.7-Wednesday Jan.8:  We will have a lesson on Congruent Triangles, 5.3-5.6.  We will discuss the 5 shortcuts and complete “Proving Triangles Congruent”.  The assignment is Triangle Congruences.

Thursday Jan.9-Friday Jan10:  We will have a lesson on How to Prove Triangles are Congruent, 5.3-5.6.  In our Proof Booklet, I will work out the odds and assign students the even numbered proofs.  The assignment is “2 Column Proof wkst” #s 1-2,5,7-8,10-11.

Tuesday Jan. 7:  We will have a lesson on Bisectors, 6.1.  The assignment is page 310 #1-18,23-24.

Wednesday Jan.8:  We will continue with Bisectors and have a lesson on Writing the equation of a bisector, 6.2.  Students will add on to their assignment #19-22,30.

Thursday Jan.9:  We will have a lesson on Bisectors of Triangles, 6.2.  We will do 2 explorations on DESMOS.
