Lesson Plans for Dec.2-6

GEOMETRY:

Monday Dec.2:  We will have a lesson on classifying triangles and triangle theorems.  The assignment is wkst 5.1B.

Tuesday Dec.3:  We will have a lesson on Corresponding Parts of Congruent Figures, 5.2.  The assignment is online at bigideasmath.com.

Wednesday Dec.4:  English 1 and 2 Benchmark

Thursday Dec.5:  The assignment is on triangles, 5.1, online at bigideasmath.com

Friday Dec.6:  Students will take Quiz 5.1-5.2.

HONORS GEOMETRY:

Monday Dec.2:  Students will complete wkst 5.1-5.4 to review triangles.

Tuesday Dec.3:  We will do an activity to discover congruent triangle shortcuts.

Wednesday Dec.4:  English 1 and 2 Benchmark

Thursday Dec.5:  We will have a lesson on the 5 congruent triangle theorems.  The assignment is wkst 8/5.3-5.6.

Friday Dec.6:  We will have a lesson on how to prove triangles are congruent.

Monday Nov.18:  Students will turn in page 198 #1-2,7,9,10,12,16-24,26 and take Quiz 4.1-4.3.

Tuesday Nov.19:  We will have a lesson on Dilations, 4.5.  We will use wkst 4.5A as examples and the assignment is page 216 -217 #1-6,15-16,20,22.

Wednesday Nov.20:  Students will complete the review of chapter 4 for the TEST tomorrow.

Thursday Nov.21:  Chapter 4 TEST

Friday Nov.22:  Game Day

NEXT WEEK IS THANKSGIVING WEEK! 🙂

Friday Nov.22:  We will make 3D ornaments for our classroom Geometree.
