Lesson Plans for Sept. 23-27

GEOMETRY:

Monday Sept.23:  We will go over and students will correct Quiz 2.1-2.2.  Students will complete the online assignment at bigideasmath.com if they have not already done so.  The assignment is wkst 2.3.

Tuesday Sept.24:  Students will complete the review for TEST 2.1-2.3.

Wednesday Sept.25:  TEST 2.1-2.3

Thursday Sept.26-Friday Sept.27:  We will have a lesson on Algebraic Reasoning and Properties, 2.4.  The assignment is wkst 2.4A.

HONORS GEOMETRY:

Monday Sept.23:  We will continue with Proving Statements about Segments and Angles with students completing the “Givens” worksheet.

Tuesday Sept.24:  Students will complete 2.5 Exploration with a partner.

Wednesday Sept.25:  We will do wkst 2.5C together and then students will complete wkst 2.5A/B.

Thursday Sept.26-Friday Sept.27:  We will have a lesson on Vertical Angles, Linear Pair Angles, and Other Syles of Proof, 2.6.  The assignment is wkst 2.6B.

Monday Sept.16:  Student Holiday, Teacher Workday

Tuesday Sept.17:  We will grade and go over wkst 2.1A.  We will have a lesson on Inductive Reasoning, 2.2A.  The assignment is wkst 2.2A.

Wednesday Sept.18:  We will have a lesson on Deductive Reasoning, 2.2B.  The assignment is wkst 2.2B.

Thursday Sept.19:  Quiz 2.1-2.2

Friday Sept.20:  We will have a lesson on Postulates and Diagrams, 2.3.  The assignment is online at bigideasmath.com.

HONORS GEOMETRY:

Monday Sept.16:  Student Holiday, Teacher Workday

Tuesday Sept.17:  We will go over several assignments and a quiz from last week.

Wednesday Sept.18:  Students will complete a review over 2.1-2.4 in preparation for a test.

Thursday Sept.19:  TEST 2.1-2.4.

Friday Sept.20:  We will have a lesson on Proving Statements about Angles, 2.5.   The assignment is “The Givens” wkst.
