Lesson Plans for Aug. 25-29

GEOMETRY:

Monday Aug.25:  We will continue with Midpoints and Segment Bisectors, 1.3.  The assignment is page 24-25 #1-2,6-10all,20-28even,32,34.

Tuesday Aug.26:  We will have a lesson on Polygons, Area, and Perimeter, 1.4.  The assignment is wkst 1.4A.

Wednesday Aug.27:  The assignment is a wkst.

Thursday Aug.28:  Students will complete a review over 1.1-1.4 in preparation for a test.

Friday Aug.29:  TEST 1.1-1.4.

Monday Sept.1:  LABOR DAY HOLIDAY 🙂

HONORS GEOMETRY:

Monday Aug.25:  We will grade wkst 1.5 and go over wkst 1.3 and wkst 1.4.

Tuesday Aug.26:  Students will complete chapter 1 test review in preparation for a test.

Wednesday Aug.27:  Chapter 1 TEST, (Deadline to exit Honors).

Thursday Aug.28:  We will have a lesson on Conditional Statements and Biconditional Statements, 2.1.  Students will work with a partner for an activity on this.

Friday Aug.29:  Students will complete and assignment online at bigideasmath.com

Monday Sept.1:  LABOR DAY HOLIDAY 🙂

Monday Aug.18:  We will grade and go over the wkst from Friday.  Students will work together to complete wkst 1.1A.

Tuesday Aug.19-Wednesday Aug.20:  We will have a lesson on Segments and Distance, 1.2.  The assignment is page 16-18 #1-2,4-26even,30,34,37a,b.

Thursday Aug.21:  The assignment is wkst 1.2A.

Friday Aug.22:  We will take notes on Midpoint and Segment Bisector, 1.3.  Students will complete Quiz 1.1-1.2.

HONORS GEOMETRY:

Monday Aug.18:  We will have a lesson on Segments and Congruence, 1.2.  The assignment is wkst 1.2C.

Tuesday Aug.19:  We will have a lesson on Midpoint and Distance, 1.3A.  Students will make online accounts in bigideasmath.com.

Wednesday Aug.20:  We will finish 1.3 with a lesson on Partitioning a Segment.  The assignment is wkst 1.3C.

Thursday Aug.21:  We will have a lesson on Angles, 1.4/1.5.  The assignment is wkst 1.4C.

Friday Aug.22:  We will have a lesson on Angle Pairs, 1.5/1.6.  The assignment is wkst 1.5.
